Terms of use
Using Loftt
By using Loftt you agree to these terms. Loftt helps you keep records about your home. You are responsible for the information you add and for keeping your phone and sign-in secure. Please use Loftt lawfully and do not try to disrupt or misuse our servers.
Guidance is not professional advice
Loftt’s reminders, estimates, answers and safety guidance are general information from the records you provide. They can be incomplete or wrong. They are not a substitute for a qualified electrician, plumber, gas engineer, structural engineer, inspector or other professional. If you think something is unsafe, such as a gas smell, an electrical fault, fire or flooding, stop using it and call a professional or your local emergency number. Warranty and date details are only as accurate as what you entered or confirmed.
Your content
Your homes, photos and documents belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run Loftt for you, as described in our privacy policy. If you invite others to a home, they can see and (depending on their role) change what is in that home.
Loftt Plus subscription
Loftt Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. The price and length are shown in the app before you buy. The yearly plan includes a 14-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of that plan.
- If you start a free trial, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
- Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID settings: on your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. In Loftt you can also open Settings, Plan, Manage subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request one at support.apple.com/billing.
Backup, sync, safety guidance and your own data are never held back when Loftt Plus ends: nothing you saved is hidden or deleted. If the owner of a shared home stops subscribing, other people in that home can still see everything but may not be able to change it until the owner renews.
The Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to the Loftt app: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Loftt running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features, and we may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Loftt after a change, you accept the new terms.
Ending your use
You can stop using Loftt and delete your account at any time (Settings, Account, Delete my account). Deleting your account permanently removes it and your online backup, including homes you own and share with others. It does not cancel Loftt Plus, which you cancel in your Apple ID settings. See Delete your account for details. We may suspend access if you break these terms or misuse the service.
Liability
Loftt is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using Loftt’s information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
